Stagecraft:  Week 4
(September 11-15, 2023)

Google Classroom assignments are in BLUE.

If ABSENT, you are REQUIRED to read / understand / do all activities posted for that day, even if it's not an "assignment"/homework.

Days 1-2:   Building Flats & Platforms

 

1.) Announcements:  

  • There will be a SUMMATIVE QUIZ FRIDAY ON: on Stages, Stage Terms, & Materials used to Build Flats/Platforms

  • Everyone:  Bring paint clothes!

  • In order to study/prepare for your quiz, re-watch, or study your Google Classroom CLASS NOTES from:

2.)  Reviewed terms/concepts that will be on Friday's quiz.

​

3.)  Continued building flats & platforms (in groups)

​

4.) Learned next steps in building:

  • Flat groups will prime their flat

  • Platform group will either leg or caster their platforms

​

5.) Groups signed the back of their flats/platforms

​

​

DAY 3: Review Games 

​

1.) Reminders:  

  • There will be a SUMMATIVE QUIZ FRIDAY ON: on Stages, Stage Terms, & Materials used to Build Flats/Platforms

  • Everyone:  Bring paint clothes!

  • In order to study/prepare for your quiz, re-watch, or study your Google Classroom CLASS NOTES from:

(Any groups not done with flats/platforms finished building project)

2.) Played a review game (as a class) for tomorrow's quiz.  Winners earned extra credit on quiz.

Day 4:  Summative Quiz (Stage Terms + Flats/Plats)

​

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding (IB Criterion A) of theatre terms and concepts learned so far in Stagecraft by completing a SUMMATIVE QUIZ

  • See above for further explanation of what was on the Quiz; if you were ABSENT today, you must take the quiz when you return.
